Yeast Infection 1 Day Treatment

Before you buy a yeast infection 1 day treatment or any other for that matter, be sure to get diagnosed to know for certain that’s what you have. Sometimes women believe they have a yeast infection, only to eventually find out they had another type of infection. If you really don’t have it, then applying yeast infection treatment can actually worsen the condition. Some of the most common yeast infection symptoms include a thick, white discharge that smells like yeast along with burning while urinating, vaginal soreness, and feeling pain during intercourse.

Women have had success with the yeast infection 1 day treatment the first time around. However, it seems that when used a second time, many women find that it makes the condition worse.

Keep in mind that Monistat does worsen the symptoms initially. The first few days in particular will result in more itching and burning after the cream or suppositories are inserted. Some women are against the 1 Day Monistat because it’s ineffective against bad infections and it’s too rough. Taking ibuprofin can help relieve some of the discomfort. Regardless of the treatment you decide to use, the yeast infection typically will last for a week or so.

Monistat 7 is useful because it has to be applied for an entire week, though Monistat 3 is more powerful and can provide relief in a shorter period of time. Should you still be experiencing symptoms after a week, then try using Monistat 3 again.

The 7 day yeast infection treatment can be a bit messy because of the leakages the following morning. Some women have reported feeling extreme pain in the vaginal area because they are probably allergic to the ingredients in the treatment. If you do experience severe pain, then see your doctor.

In addition to Monistat, Difucan and natural remedies such as antifungal, supplements, and herbs can be helpful. Consult your doctor first however, as taking a combination of treatments can cause harm to your health.

Besides applying yeast infection treatment, eat plain yogurt on a daily basis. Yogurt has medicinal properties, and a number of women have reported that it’s worked for them. If nothing else, it’s healthy for you to eat and it certainly can’t make your yeast infection worse. Also, eating healthy can help lower your risk for yeast infections, in addition to eating garlic and exercising. Avoid eating sugary foods, alcohol, and caffeine.

The yeast infection 1 day treatment in general is not as effective as the 3 or 7 day. The 1 day might work the first time or for mild conditions, but it’s generally not effective when used consistently. The 7 day treatment seems to be pretty reliable.
